Metaproducts Offline Explorer comes in different editions, Standard, Professional, Enterprise and Portable. This is the Standard Edition of this well-known offline explorer and downloader, now on its Fifth version. The limitation of this version is that it does not download from HTTPS, RTSP, PNM and MMS like its two following editions. Nevertheless, Metaproducst Offline Explorer Standard allows you to download an endless number of your preferred Web and FTP sites for offline viewing, editing or browsing on a later date.
This program allows you to keep in touch with valuable Web data even when you are traveling by simply storing it on a hard disc or a portable device and working through as you wish. Metaproducts Offline Explorer Standard supports industry-standard technologies such as FTP, different proxy servers, Java classes, scripts written in Java and VB, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Table Of Contents (TOC), Acrobat (PDF), Macromedia Flash, XML/XSL/DTD, M3U, RealMedia (.SMIL, .RAM, .RPM), AAM files, MS NetShow Channel (.NSC), QuickTime movies (.MOV), VRML (.WRL, .WRZ), and cookies plus a built-in HTTP server. |
